By downloading, accessing, or using the ScentID mobile application (the "App") or scentidapp.com, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
ScentID is an AI-powered fragrance identification application. You enter scent characteristics and the App estimates matching fragrances from its database. All results are estimates only. Fragrance identification is inherently subjective, and results may be inaccurate. Do not make purchasing decisions based solely on ScentID results.
You must be at least 13 years old to use ScentID. If you are under 18, you may only use the App with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
ScentID participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. When you click "Buy on Amazon" and make a qualifying purchase, ScentID LLC may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This disclosure is made in accordance with FTC guidelines (16 CFR Part 255). All purchases are transacted entirely by Amazon under Amazon's own terms and policies; ScentID is not the seller of any product.
The App may display third-party advertisements. Advertisers are solely responsible for the content of their ads. ScentID does not endorse advertised products or services.
All content, code, and design of the App are the property of ScentID LLC. Cologne and fragrance brand names referenced in the App are trademarks of their respective owners. ScentID is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any fragrance brand, including but not limited to Chanel, Dior, Creed, Versace, Giorgio Armani, or Yves Saint Laurent.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScentID LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Total aggregate liability shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100 USD).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScentID LLC, its owner, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We may modify or discontinue the App, or update these Terms, at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
